Video: MarketPlace Christmas Parade

The annual MarketPlace Christmas Parade took place on November 29th, with a changed format to accommodate the need to social distance due to the pandemic.

The parade normally travels through the City of Hamilton with dancers and more, however this year the company organised a vehicle parade, which traveled from Shelly Bay Bay, through the City of Hamilton, and then Heron Bay, with the long route designed to allow people to practice social distancing while watching the parade.

“We saw so many happy faces, spectators wearing masks and social distancing, we hope that all of you had as good a time as we did! Thank you for coming out,” the company posted on social media after the parade. “Happy Christmas everyone!”
