City’s Christmas Boat Parade Set For Dec 7

The City of Hamilton’s 2024 Christmas Boat Parade on December 7 is set to feature extended boat registration, prizes, a free viewing area, and Bermuda’s largest holiday drone show.

“Interested participants can sign up using the Boat Parade Application Form.

“The City invites the public to join us at the free City Viewing Village and Kids Zone, which will offer the best views of Hamilton Harbour and feature a variety of delicious food vendors. Settle in for the parade’s main attraction: a fleet of brilliantly decorated boats, each adorned with dazzling Christmas-themed designs that will light up the night. Spectators can also cast their votes for their favourite entry.

“The evening will culminate in a spectacular holiday drone show, the largest in Bermuda, filling the sky above the harbour with breathtaking lights and festive wonder. Hosting the festivities will be the engaging Patrina O’Connor [aka Power Girl].”

“Extending the registration deadline gives more boat owners the chance to participate and add their creativity to this stunning event,” said Lorna Hayward, the City’s Senior Events Coordinator. “With amazing prizes and the new drone show, we’re creating an unforgettable experience for the whole community, and we hope to see as many boats as possible lighting up the harbour.”

The spokesperson said, “Learn more about the event here. We look forward to seeing you there!
