The 2021 Cup Match Classic came to a conclusion with Somerset Cricket Club retaining the Cup with a 10 wicket victory over the St. George’s Cricket Club.
After being cancelled last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Cup Match Classic was back this year, and the Island celebrated the Cup Match holiday in various ways with many attending the match, and as always, people were dressed to impress, with a number sporting their team colours as part of their attire.
With a rich and proud history stemming back over a century, Cup Match is an iconic holiday in Bermuda, the first day marks Emancipation Day and the second day is Mary Prince Day.
