In 2025, Bermuda is set to welcome arrival of Norwegian Cruise Line’s latest marvel, the Norwegian Aqua. This gleaming addition to the Prima Class fleet will travel to the island from New York City with five and seven-day voyages slated for August to October 2025.
As the first vessel in the new Prima Plus Class, the Norwegian Aqua will set sail in April 2025, offering guests an unprecedented level of outdoor space and the highest staffing levels seen on a contemporary cruise ship.
Stretching a majestic 1,056 feet and weighing 156,300 gross tons, the ship hosts 3,571 guests and boasts the world’s first hybrid rollercoaster and waterslide, the Aqua Slidecoaster.
This innovative ride combines the thrill of a rollercoaster with the splash of a waterslide, featuring magnetic propulsion that whisks guests around the ship’s funnel on a wild ride filled with twists and turns.
After initial Caribbean adventures from Port Canaveral, Florida, the Norwegian Aqua will head north, offering New Yorkers and international travelers alike the opportunity to set off from the iconic skyline of New York City to the stunning shores of Bermuda from August 2025 through October 2025.
