Hamilton Princess Reopens Exhale Spa

Hamilton Princess & Beach Club’s signature Exhale Spa will reopen today [July 1] as Bermuda enters the fourth phase of the Government’s reopening strategy.

A spokesperson said, “Exhale has taken a number of steps to ensure the health and safety of its members and team, our first priority, as well as to give peace of mind to anyone seeking a safe space to work out or relax. All staff will have their temperatures checked at the beginning of their shift, will be wearing appropriate PPE and have completed training in enhanced cleaning processes. There will be sanitising stations dotted around the spa and regular, thorough cleanings of equipment, tools and spaces will be taking place.

“The spa will offer its usual selection of luxurious and restorative treatments and therapies, from Hydrafacials to Rum Swizzle Scrubs as well as beauty treatments such as waxing, manicures and pedicures in its calm and relaxed surroundings. Disposable face cradle and pillow covers will be used and changing room capacity will be monitored.

“For those who have been missing a proper workout, the gym facilities will be available again, allowing guests to work out in a stylish space with beautiful views over Hamilton Harbour. Fitness classes, available to members or to those purchasing class packs, will resume as well with social distancing being observed and guests will be required to register online in advance for the session.

“Masks must be worn by guests at all times at the spa, while practicing social distancing, including during fitness classes and treatments – the only exceptions are certain therapies [when therapists will wear face shield in addition to their mask] and High Intensity Interval Training [HIIT] and Cardio classes, when they may be removed once in the class.

Menique De La Rosa, Director of Spa & Fitness at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, said: “We are so excited to be able to welcome back our members and to create a safe space for them to find respite from the current circumstances. Whether you’re in need of a good workout or a relaxing massage, Exhale is here to take care of you. Our priority is to ensure that everyone who visits Exhale feels safe, comfortable, rebalanced and restored during this trying time.”
