National Geographic has shared a video of Bermuda’s Montana shipwreck, featuring the remains of a civil war blockade runner from 1863, with the 180 degree video technology allowing viewers to have a wide-ranging peripheral view.
The video’s description says, “Off the coast of Bermuda lies the Montana shipwreck, a civil war blockade runner from 1863. There are over 300 shipwrecks that surround Bermuda.
“Hard coral and reefs have since grown onto the wreckage, and scientists are able to learn about coral growth by monitoring the shipwreck.”
