Preparations are underway at Port Royal Golf Course as the scenic Southampton venue gets ready to welcome the 2026 Butterfield Bermuda Championship from October 22 to 25. With four days of professional golf on the horizon, the course is preparing to take its place in the sporting spotlight once again.
Set against Bermuda’s beautiful coastline, the championship brings together the excitement of PGA Tour competition and the appeal of an island setting. Part of the FedExCup Fall schedule, the event will see some of the world’s top golfers competing at Port Royal, with the Atlantic providing a picturesque backdrop to the action.
There will also be a homegrown connection for local supporters, with Bermudian golfers Nick Jones and Camiko Smith earning their places through the local qualifier. Their participation gives fans two familiar names to cheer on as the international field gathers in Southampton.
