The Scenic Eclipse II, a remarkable luxury cruise ship designed to accommodate 228 passengers and featuring an impressive array of amenities, including two helipads and even a submarine, recently graced Bermuda with its inaugural visit.
During its stay, the ship made stops in both Hamilton and St. George’s, adding a touch of opulence to the island’s shores.
Bermuda’s Minister of Transport Wayne Furbert, warmly welcomed Senior Captain Erwan Le Rouzic and the Scenic Eclipse II’s crew.
The ship boasts an impressive range of amenities, including ten distinct dining options, six bars and lounges, two helipads, and the unique feature of a submarine, offering guests the opportunity to explore the ocean’s depths.
This inaugural visit saw twenty-eight passengers disembark in Bermuda, and an additional forty-five guests arrived at L. F. Wade International Airport on October 17 to embark on the Scenic Eclipse II for their journey.
To commemorate this momentous occasion, Minister Furbert conducted an Inaugural Plaque exchange ceremony. Dwayne Caines, CEO of the City of Hamilton, representatives from Meyer Agency, and officials from Marine and Ports Services were also present to mark the ship’s arrival, solidifying the significance of its inaugural visit to Bermuda.
