Bermudian Singer Ponaflex Releases “Best Time” Music Video

Reis Van Putten, known by his stage name Ponaflex, has released the music video for his latest single, Best Time.

Drawing inspiration from his island roots and the universal desire to revel in the joy of pursuing passions, Best Time celebrates life, friendship and encapsulates the essence of having fun and showcases Bermuda’s beauty.

“This song means more to me than I can put into words because I’ve tried different styles to find my sound, and now I believe that I’ve found it, which is singable music with relatable concepts that people globally can enjoy,” Ponaflex said.

The music video, shot and directed by Bermudian filmmaker Marq Rodriguez, visually complements the message and celebratory vibe of the song. It included several of Ponaflex’s childhood friends.

Ponaflex said he hopes Best Time becomes a crowd-pleaser with audiences far and wide.

‘‘I’ve wanted this for as long as I can remember,” he said. “It’s been my dream to make music and represent Bermuda globally.

“I’m just grateful to be here working towards that, but I really have to thank my friends, family and fans for all the support because I truly couldn’t do it without them, and a special shout-out to the Bermuda Tourism Authority.”

Best Time was produced by Richard Gosine, of Golden Era Production, and Emmanuel Rudder, co-written by Emmanuel Rudder and Ponaflex, with mixing by Giandre Diaz and mastering by Chris Athens.
