“Bermuda was founded by survivors of the shipwrecked Sea Venture in 1609” and “sailing has always been in her DNA thanks to here unique location in the Atlantic.”
This is according to a new video posted online by the international sailing organisation SailGP, with the organisers highlighting the Island, describing it as a “paradise.”
They posted the video below on social media, saying: “As if finally kicking off SailGP Season 2 wasn’t exciting enough, we get to do it in paradise. Get to know the safe, and stunning island of Bermuda.”
SailGP will feature eight international teams taking part in eight events across three continents, including one in Bermuda in April 2021.
