Video: Explore Aboard The ‘Restless Native’

Offering tours and trips that afford a view of the island from both off-shore and below the ocean waves, Bermuda’s Restless Native catamaran is available to be booked for cocktail cruises, snorkel tours, and private charters.

Making every excursion extra fulfilling is the fact that the vessel’s owner, Zander Dill, donates a portion of every ticket sold to the Bermuda Cancer & Health Centre.

Mr. Dill said, “We offer daily sail and snorkel tours, as well as sunset cocktail cruises twice a week out of Dockyard; the boat is also available for private charters which are totally customisable.

“We also donate a portion of each ticket sold to Bermuda Cancer & Health Centre.

Restless Native was locally built, completed back in 1997 by Kirk and Keith Ward. I took her over in 2014 and have since gone over extensive renovations and restorations, including repainting ever inch of the vessel, redesigning the logo [restoring the original Gombey theme], adding amenities such as bean bags, stand up paddle boards and kayaks, and a complete overhaul of the sound system.

“I am Bermudian born and raised and have been around boats my whole life. My father is a shipwright and runs Mills Creek Marine, so I have literally grown up on and around boats.

“I coached sailing for five summers before I made my way into charter work and haven’t looked back since.

“I spent seven summers working on various catamarans, the majority of time with Rising Son II before I took over Restless Native and got out on my own.”
