A new fine dining restaurant will officially open on December 10th at the Newstead Hotel in Paget, with the company noting that several Bermudian staff who were made redundant from other restaurants and hotels have been hired to work at Auròra.
“Auròra, which means sunrise, is a sister restaurant to the iconic Blu Bar & Grill and will be offering a new ocean to table concept offering fresh seafood dishes along with meat, vegetarian and vegan options,” the company said.
General Manager of Auròra, Costanzo DiMeglio said, “We are very excited with the opening of Auròra. Just like the name, we feel it is the dawn of a new day and are very optimistic about the future. The main ingredients are amazing views, fresh seafood and excellent service.”
He continued, “We have completely re-designed the restaurant creating a light, airy backdrop in blue hues that complement the stunning views overlooking the harbour.
“Phase 1 is the opening of Auròra on December 10th and in the Spring, we will complete phase 2 which involves an exciting fresh seafood bar next to the pool along with a private meeting and dining space called The Cove.

The company added, “Several Bermudian staff who were made redundant from other restaurants and hotels have been hired to work at Auròra together with seasoned professionals from Blu.
