Premier David Burt, Governor Rena Lalgie along with several other Overseas Territories [OT] Leaders and Governors, had the honour of meeting with His Majesty The King, Charles III, at a reception held at Buckingham Palace.
The gathering at Buckingham Palace provided a platform for OT Leaders and Governors to engage in discussions on shared matters of mutual interest concerning their respective territories. This occasion coincided with Premier Burt’s presence in the UK, where he is currently attending the OT Joint Ministerial Council Meetings.
Leaders from various Overseas Territories, including Anguilla, the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, Montserrat, Turks and Caicos Islands, Ascension, Tristan Da Cunha, and St. Helena, convened in London for this annual gathering.
Additionally, Premier Burt held bilateral meetings with key representatives of the UK Government during his visit.
