Not many places in the world can hold a powerboat race traveling around their entire country, but Bermuda can, with the Around the Island Powerboat Race seeing the fastest competitor finish in just under 35 minutes.
Held on Sunday, August 8th, the always popular race — which sees locals line the shorelines to watch the boats speed across — started and finished at Ferry Reach in the east end.
The day included six Juniors races, a jet ski race and various classes of power boat races
