The Christmas Boat Parade took place in Hamilton on Sunday evening [Dec 11] alongside a long awaited fireworks display, with crowds of people coming from across the island to enjoy the sight of festively decorated boats and colourful pyrotechnics.
The big winner of the night was Lady Bird, claiming the Best Overall Boat as well as Best Originality and Best Community Message. The People’s Choice was given to Pure Play, the Best Traditional Christmas message and the Best Humour were awarded to Cedar, while the Pleasure P claimed the Children’s Choice award.
