Bermudian actor Nicholas Christopher, currently starring in the Broadway production ‘Chess’, appeared on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’, where he spoke about his father, Ed Christopher, the Town Crier of the City of Hamilton.
During the interview, a childhood photo was shown of Christopher dressed in a miniature Town Crier outfit, which he said was made by his mother from scraps of his father’s official uniform as he had wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps.
“I wanted to be just like my dad when I was little,” he said, adding that the Town Crier role is still an official position and joking that his father performs in Hamilton the city, not ‘Hamilton’ the musical.
