Butterfield Bermuda Championship Opens Allshores Volunteer Programme

The Butterfield Bermuda Championship has launched its 2026 Volunteer Programme, with volunteers expected to support the PGA TOUR event at Port Royal Golf Course from October 19 to 25.

A spokesperson said, “The Butterfield Bermuda Championship is proud to announce the launch of its 2026 Volunteer Program, presented by longtime partners Allshores. As the tournament prepares to return to Port Royal Golf Course in its new dates October 19-25, community members are once again invited to play a key role in the PGA TOUR event by joining the tournament’s dynamic volunteer team.

“Each year, more than 650 volunteers help bring the Butterfield Bermuda Championship to life — supporting roles in admissions, hospitality, scoring, transportation, and more. Their collective effort not only ensures the smooth running of the tournament. Volunteers may also choose to donate their time to the charity of their choice during the registration process. Each volunteer can earn a charity $200 upon completion of the required shifts.”

“We are excited to open registration for the 2026 Volunteer Programme,” said Danielle Carrera, Tournament Director. “Our volunteers are the heart of this event — their energy, commitment, and community spirit elevate the experience for players, fans, and guests alike. The event simply cannot operate without each of them. With the generous support of Allshores, we look forward to welcoming returning and first-time volunteers to this year’s team.”

The spokesperson said, “Allshores return as presenting sponsors of the Volunteer Program, reaffirming their longstanding commitment to community wellness and engagement through sport.

“Whenever Bermuda hosts an event on the international stage, it is our people who help showcase the very best of who we are. The volunteers at the Bermuda Championship are ambassadors for our island, bringing the energy, pride and hospitality that Bermuda is known for around the world.”

“At Allshores, we believe strong communities are built by people who step forward and contribute, and we’re proud to continue our sponsorship of the Volunteer Programme, as these individuals help deliver an exceptional experience for players and visitors alike,” said Abigail Clifford, Group President & CEO, Allshores.

The spokesperson said, “Volunteer registration is now open here. All volunteers will receive official tournament apparel, meals during their shifts, a weeklong pass to the championship, and access to special volunteer appreciation events.

“The 2026 Butterfield Bermuda Championship will be held October 19-25, welcoming top PGA TOUR players to Bermuda’s iconic Port Royal Golf Course. As one of the island’s most significant international sporting events, the championship brings global attention, economic impact, and charitable support to the local community.
