Three Bermudians — Mackenzie Cooper, Shomari Warner and Taylor Barit — had the opportunity to work with Vineyard Vines on their latest spring photo shoot in St Kitts, with the trio selected as they “have interesting backgrounds that blend well with the brand and represent Bermuda well.”

A spokesperson said, “Recently, young Bermudians got a great opportunity to work with Vineyard Vines on their latest spring photo shoot.

“Three lucky Bermudians were flown out to St. Kitts where the shoot took place. Not only were they able to model for Vineyard Vines, which will be shown across the world, but they were all chosen because they have interesting backgrounds that blend well with the brand and represent Bermuda well.”

“Vineyard Vines, the lifestyle apparel brand was started in 1998 when brothers and co-founders, Shep and Ian Murray, cut their ties with corporate America and decided to sell ties that represented the good life. Over the past 20+ years, we have built a brand celebrating great places, great experiences and real good people living real good lives.”

The company said, “For our spring catalog, we are celebrating those every day should feel this good moments, spring break style. To do so, we brought some of our friends from Bermuda on the ultimate bucket list trip to St. Kitts.

“Mackenzie, a lifelong sailor and now member of the Vineyard Vines On Deck program, is a true team player and his happy-go-lucky spirit is a great addition to our crew. Along with Mackenzie was his friend Shomari, an incredible athlete – former professional boxer turned sailor and overall great guy with a smile that lights up a room.

“Their friendship and love of the water epitomizes the Vineyard Vines style and ethos of the brand. We also featured local Bermudian, Taylor, who is the quintessential water woman. She is not only all about surfing, swimming and free-diving, but also holds five world records for women’s spearfishing.”

“Vineyard Vines makes clothes that let people take a slice of the good life with them, especially out on the water. We chose to showcase Mackenzie, Shomari and Taylor because they not only exhibit their own entrepreneurial spirit, something that Vineyard Vines was founded upon, but they are natural brand ambassadors embracing their community and making water a focal point of their lives.

“They are deeply inspired by their love of the water and they exemplify our brand motto of ‘every day should feel this good’ to the fullest extent. This crew is certainly a great example of real good people living real good lives.”
