Hamilton Princess Donates $3,500 To Women’s Resource Centre

Hamilton Princess & Beach Club donated $3,500 to the Women’s Resource Centre following the hotel’s fundraising initiatives during Women’s Month.

The hotel raised $1,750 with events such as a colleagues’ casual dress day and Women’s Month Brunches each Sunday in March – the menu for which was masterminded by Dr Teneika Eve of Bermuda College. These funds were then matched by the hotel’s ownership for a total of $3,500.

The outgoing Executive Director of the Women’s Resource Centre, Elaine D. Butterfield, said: ‘The Women’s Resource Centre’s mission is to be the leading resource and voice for women in Bermuda and to make the island a community free of inequality and sexism, where women are emotionally and physically healthy, safe, confident and able to realize their potential.

‘We are tremendously appreciative of the fabulous support we receive from the folks at Hamilton Princess and look forward to a continued partnership as we work to empower the women in our community, particularly during these most challenging times.’
