American sneaker maker Saucony is paying homage to Bermuda’s beautiful waters with its newly released “Bermuda Pack,” featuring two pairs of the company’s trainers with colours that bring to mind “one of the dreamiest places to visit in the Atlantic.”
Citing the inspiration of the island’s “mesmerizing turquoise water,” Saucony created the special pack with Bermuda in mind, including one pair each of its Shadow 6000 and DXN Trainer in distinct blue and turquoise hues and bringing to mind waves lapping up on Bermuda’s unique pink sand beaches.
The Saucony website says, “Known around the world for its stunning pink sand beaches, mesmerizing turquoise water and unique island culture, Bermuda is one of the dreamiest places to visit in the Atlantic.
“Its impressive resume delivered a wealth of inspiration for the Saucony Originals team when selecting materials and colorways for an island-themed pack.”
The Saucony Bermuda Pack was released in select locations on May 15, “coming ashore in time for Bermuda Day,” which is set to be held on Monday, May 25, 2015.
