New Bermuda Fudge Company In Dockyard

A new business in Bermuda has opened its doors to the public, providing a wide range of delectable fudge to locals and visitors alike at their Dockyard location at the Clocktower Mall, a short walk for those arriving on the island on cruise ships.

Offering fudge flavours ranging from the standard chocolate and vanilla to apple pie and gingerbread, the family-owned company spent several months working on production and ensuring that they could meet the public’s demand before officially opening in order to hawk their delicious wares.

Since their soft opening in May, the Bermuda Fudge Co. has constantly received positive feedback from customers, including statements such as “OMG” and “this is better than MacKinac Island Fudge,” which is a huge compliment that can be appreciated by fudge connoisseurs not only from Bermuda, but around the world.

The shop offers an array of tastes to suit every craving, with about 12 to 14 flavours available every day.

To keep those with a sweet tooth on their toes, the menu of flavours changes daily.

Taking their fudge flavour endeavors even further, the shop will give customers the opportunity to add to their holiday experience with Christmas-themed flavours such as Eggnog, Gingerbread, Candy Cane, Pumpkin Pie, Apple Pie, and more.

Shop owner Sarah Burrows’ love for the Royal Naval Dockyard and her passion for helping visitors to experience the best of the island lead her to open the Bermuda Fudge Co. in the Clocktower Mall, serving as a prime location for those arriving by cruise ship.

“It has been an interesting, exciting and, at times, overwhelming experience,” she said. “One of the best things about the shop, besides the delicious fudge and being able to share Bermuda and the Royal Naval Dockyard with visitors, is meeting such interesting people.”
